Easy check in (key box) and lots of free parking. Rooms were cheap and fully furnished kitchen. Pillows were a bit flat and bathroom dated (also ran out of hot water frequently) but to get the villa feel and at an amazing price... no complaints! Only negative was that the gate needed unlocking out of hours which was hassle as wind often closed them whilst trying to drive car in!
When we arrived at Porto Mós Residence in Lagos, we were pleasantly surprised it was actually even better than it looked in the photos. The apartment is still quite simple, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The little kitchen was especially convenient and fully functional, which we really appreciated. We did end up buying our own sponge and dish towel for washing up, as those weren’t provided, and it would have been nice to have a few more pans or utensils. But overall, the kitchen had everything essential. The bathroom is a bit dated, but everything worked perfectly, so we had no complaints there. One small improvement would be to have more parasols available by the pool as shade was sometimes limited. The location was absolutely fantastic a quiet and peaceful area where you could truly relax, with only the occasional dog barking in the background. It felt like a perfect escape from the busy town center, yet still close enough to everything we wanted to visit. Finally, we can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. To sum up: Porto Mós Residence is a simple but well-kept property with everything you need for a pleasant stay. We left feeling relaxed and happy, and we would definitely return!
I stayed in this residence during my visit to Lagos in Algarve, August 2022. Place was very quiet and perfect for someone seeking for a nice spot for hiatus. It's very close to Praia do Porto Mos and Punta da Piedade and it's 20 min by walk from the city centre. Fornitures are a bit old but cleaning service come to our room everyday changing sheets and towels. Overall, it was a good stay. I even made a new friend Obrigado!
